Exhibition Overview

Beneath the vast expanse of the Mongolian Plateau lies the key force shaping the world's energy future – 30 billion tons of coal, 2 billion tons of copper, 31 million tons of rare earths and other resources – and the country is heading towards historic change at an unprecedented pace.

As the goal of carbon neutrality reshapes the global energy landscape, Mongolia is launching a strategic upgrade of its mining industry, centered on "efficient development, clean conversion, and a green closed-loop." As a hub in the Central Asian Energy Corridor, Mongolia not only carries the mission of supplying power to the Chinese and Russian markets, but is also committed to building a new technology-driven mining economy—from smart mines and low-carbon transformation to cross-border smart logistics, unleashing the value potential of "mining gold" across the entire supply chain.

The 2026 Mongolia International Coal Industry Expo (Mongolia Coal 2026) was born in response to this trend. With the theme of "Efficient, Clean, and Sustainable: Reshaping Mongolia's New Coal Ecosystem," this expo will for the first time integrate cutting-edge global forces:

Cutting-edge technologies: Bringing together innovative achievements such as unmanned mining, CCUS, and new materials;

Policy momentum: Interpreting the new regulations of Mongolia's Mining Revitalization Act, creating a green channel for foreign investment and cooperation;

Market Hub: Connecting the production capacity of giants like Erdene-Tavan Tolgoi with market demand in Asia and Europe, reshaping cross-border supply chains.

Ecological Reconstruction: Demonstrating solutions for synergizing mining area restoration and new energy, fulfilling the promise of "The direction of a steed is determined by the grasslands, and the future of mining is illuminated by wisdom."

In April, let's gather in Ulaanbaatar—

witness the collision of gigatonnes of resources and revolutionary technologies,

participate in the profound reconstruction of the Central Asian mining value chain,

and together write a Mongolian paradigm for a green leap forward in a resource-based economy!
